I have been performing with the Cherry Blossom String Quartet since 2006. The quartet has performed at more than one thousand events since its formation in 1992 at George Washington University. CBSQ regularly plays at weddings and events at some of the DC area’s most distinctive and iconic venues, including the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts as well as numerous churches, synagogues, hotels, and wineries. While our roots are in classical music, CBSQ’s ever-expanding repertoire list spans from baroque music to the latest hits of today’s popular artists. The members of CBSQ enjoy all aspects of managing the quartet, from booking gigs to arranging special music requests. Notable past performances include a concert at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, the Virginia Wine Festival, and performances at the National Archives for Steven Spielberg, Ken Burns, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Morgan Freeman.
Interested in live string entertainment for a wedding or event? CBSQ provides perfect ambiance and has a vast selection of classical and popular repertoire ranging from Bach and Beethoven to Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.
